[Teaching-Faculty] Spring book/material orders for students

Colleagues,

As you prepare for your spring book/material orders for students, please
keep in mind that for students who have been given aid money of some kind
that they would like to use towards their course materials purchases, they
will need to be able to order those items *from* our Bookstore (i.e. the
Campus Store).  This includes textbooks and other resources like ‘access
codes.’ Faculty who suggest ordering from other outside vendors to save
students some costs–and who do not place an order with the
Bookstore–actually create issues for students who need to use award money
with our Bookstore.  The best solution, then, is to place an order with the
Bookstore while also suggesting alternate sources for purchasing, if you
wish.

Another way to help save students money is to consider using Open
Educational Resources (OER). More information is available through the Feinberg
