[Teaching-Faculty] Daily update for Faculty re: Fall 2021 return to campus

Colleagues,

At some point today, the President intends to send out a communication
detailing how our campus will be responding to the FDA approval of the
Pfizer vaccination.  In brief, all of the SUNY system is going to mandate
that all unvaccinated students be vaccinated within 35 days.  Those who do
not comply will have their enrollment to SUNY Plattsburgh cancelled and
will not be permitted to transfer into other SUNY institutions.  Please
watch for his message!

Second, I'm happy to let you know that in the COVID policy group this
morning (followed by the President's Cabinet), we supported a decision to
enact plans so that any vaccinated staff members who wish to be
periodically tested can do so on our campus.

Move-in of students begins this Thursday!
