Specialist


Aude Lochet is the water resources extension specialist based at SUNY
Plattsburgh. She conducts outreach, educational activities, and applied
research in relation to water resources and human use of Lake Champlain and
its shoreline.

Aude started her career in France as a fish ecologist. She studied the
otoliths of fish to understand the migration of many species, including sea
lamprey in Lake Champlain. She discovered herself as an educator when she
started working with undergraduate students, as an instructor and research
mentor. Come learn all about Aude’s exciting research and career!
