[MUSIC] Symphonic Band presents “Dances” Concert

The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music presents “Dances,” a Symphonic
Band concert that features dance-related music from England, Scotland,
Russia, the United States, Albania, and Cuba, covering a time span from the
Renaissance to modern eras. Directed by faculty member Daniel Gordon, the
Symphonic Band is a blend of student and community performers that join
together and perform every semester. This concert spotlights the works of
Grainger, Nelson, Shostakovich, Bernstein, and more.

“Dances” will be performed in the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium within Hawkins
Hall on Friday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the
public to attend and enjoy.
