A curriculum vitae (CV) is a kind of academic resumé. CVs are longer and
more detailed than the kinds of resumés used for job applications, and most
graduate programs will prefer to receive a CV from applicants rather than a
basic resumé.

So if you are considering grad school (getting a master's, doctorate, or
other type of advanced degree after completing your bachelor's), it's a
good idea to start a working draft of your CV now, which you can update as
you rack up more accomplishments over time.

Teddy Defayette, senior Psychology major and president of our
campus's chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology,
will be happy to assist you in this process! Teddy will share a CV template
and help you start filling it in if you are just starting out with this.
And if you already have a draft of your CV going, Teddy will review it and
provide feedback!

The workshop will take place *at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 9th, in Sibley
100* (just inside the first set of doors on the Rugar St side of the
building).
