Mark your calendars for the* National Day on Writing*:* Monday, October
20th*!

Join the First Year Composition Program, The Learning Center, and their
featured guest, *Dr. Elizabeth Boquet,* Professor of English and Writing
Center Director at Fairfield University, to celebrate *"process over
product"*. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend and celebrate
writing all day!

*At 1:00PM*, Dr. Boquet will talk about *"'Slipping Through the Curtain of
the Ordinary': Possibilities, Postcards, and Pedagogies"* in the *Alumni
Conference Room* in the Angell College Center.

Afterwards,* from 2:00PM to 4:00PM*, stop by the Learning Center to fill
out a *Process Postcard* to be displayed throughout the Library.
