[MUSIC] Fall 2025 Concert Choir

The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music will present the Fall 2025 Concert
Choir in concert on Friday, December 5, 2025. Composed of student singers
from a range of curriculums, the choir will be performing their end of the
semester event that includes a variety of vocal greats.

Director Timothy Morningstar had this to say about the concert, " This
eclectic concert will be comprised of three wonderful "sets" of original
choral works, folk songs, and jazz standards exquisitely arranged for
chorus. One set is a beautiful grouping of folk songs from the British
Isles and the Appalachian region of the United States. Another set
celebrates the beauty of the earth and a message of hope in a time of
strife. The final set is an upbeat and rollicking collection of Jazz
Standards. This concert has something for anyone who enjoys live choral
music performed by a talented group of young singers. Ryan Mahony will
serve as the Collaborative Pianist for the concert. Come join us as we wind
up the Fall semester in song!”

The Fall 2025 Concert Choir performance will be on November 5, 2025 at 7:30
p.m.at the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium within Hawkins Hall. Attendance is
free and open to the public.
