*What:*  2025 CEO Club's Business Plan Poster Competition
*What you can win:*  1st Place:  $250 + Trophy,  2nd Place:  $150 +
trophy,    3rd Place:  $100 + trophy
*Who is eligible to compete? *  All SUNY Full or Part-time Students in any
major are eligible.  Students can compete individually or they can enter as
a team (up to 5 people on a team)
*Where*:  Cardinal Lounge, ACC
*When:*   Register to Compete by Wed., November 12, 2025 - Use QR code on
posters or email Dr. Nancy Church at churchnj at plattsburgh.edu to register
             Actual Competition is on Thur., November 13, 6-8:15 pm.
Competitors should arrive by 6 pm.
*What Should Competitors Bring to Competition?*
  Prepare a poster from 8.6 inches x 11 inches up to 3 feet X 5 feet in
size that covers the following information about your business idea:
   1.  *Target Market*:  Who would benefit and be likely to buy your New
Product, Business, Service or APP?  Estimate the size of the market and
characteristics of your customers.
   2.   *What is your Competitive Advantage?*  Who are your likely
competitors and how is your idea different and better than their
product/service/app/business?
   3.  If your business idea is for a product, *draw or make a model of
your product*.
   4.  *Estimate the cost to develop* your product/service/app/business.
   5.  *Calculate your selling price, expenses, and profit margin*.
*Who Will Serve as Judges for the Competition:*  4 prominent local business
people will judge.
*How does the competition work:*  The judges will work in pairs and will
meet with each student or team, and you will describe your business idea
and discuss the information on your poster.  They will ask questions about
your business idea.  They will spend about 5-7 minutes with each student or
team.  Once the judges' score sheets are tallied, we will announce the
winners and present the trophies.  Checks will be ordered for the winners
and will be delivered a couple of weeks after the competition.
