*Dalton Rashad Criss Memorial Scholarship*

The Dalton Rashad Criss Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of
Dalton Rashad Criss who died tragically in a car accident just prior to
starting his 1st year at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2019. This scholarship seeks
to honor his legacy.  Enrolled SUNY Plattsburgh students from Albany,
Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Rensselaer, Saratoga,
Schenectady, St. Lawrence, Washington or Warren counties are eligible and
encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

2025 Scholarship Award: $1818 (applied to the Spring 2025 bill) Criteria:

Preference shall be given to students who are/were:

∙ Engaged in extracurricular activities while in high school, and/or

∙ Interested in pursuing a major or minor in music, history, criminal
justice, or science and/or

∙ Engaged in faith-based service in their community and/or

∙ Emulate Dalton’s character, personal values, and leadership qualities.
