Student Lunch with Invited Speaker

Alex’s current research looks at the intersections of climate change
adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and feminist geographical perspectives
to unpack the dynamics underpinning issues of vulnerability, resilience,
and justice. As climate variability and weather-related disasters intensify
under current climate change pathways, there is increasing pressure to
address these scenarios proactively to ensure community-specific resilience
to prioritize short and long-term safety and well-being. Come and talk with
Alex about these interesting and critical issues
