🟥 Free Webinar Today (Dec. 3)- Bystander Intervention to Address Gender-Based Street Harassment

As part of the *16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence*
campaign, *Right To Be* in partnership with the *NYC Commission on Gender
Equity *(CGE) and the *Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based
Violence* (ENDGBV), will host an online virtual bystander intervention
training to equip New Yorkers with tools to stand up against harassment.
The 16 Days campaign is a global initiative that runs from November 25
(International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) through
December 10 (Human Rights Day), raising awareness to prevent and end
gender-based violence. The training focuses on encouraging community
action, offering practical strategies skills to safely intervene when
witnessing help someone who is experiencing hate-based harassment, and join
reinforcing the city’s commitment effort to build fostering safer, more
equitable spaces for all.
