Deadline for Credit Hour Overloads/Independent Studies/Internships/TA Contracts

A reminder to everyone of the deadline for credit hour overloads,
independent studies, internships, and Teaching Assistant (TA) forms. They
are always due the Friday of the first week of classes, this year the date
is August 29th. I understand that it is difficult in some instances,
especially for internships, to have the arrangements completed with the
employer by the end of the first week. However, the sooner we have the form
the better. We definitely need to have all students registered by the
census date (September 14th).
Students not registered in these activities within the first couple of
weeks are potentially billed incorrectly, their financial aid could be
negatively impacted, and it also creates a liability from a safety
perspective if we need to account for all students in an emergency
situation.

Please make every attempt to get the forms to us as soon as possible. If
you have an extenuating circumstance that will result in the form being
late, please email registrar at plattsburgh.edu.
