*The Plattsburgh Public Library is hosting a new monthly speaker
series*, *Life-Long
Learning for All*, to help bring experts into the local community.
*Presentations
will be held the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the
Auditorium* (second floor) *of the Plattsburgh Public Library* (19 Oak St)
— enter on Brinkerhoff St. during the construction.
*The next presentation is on Wednesday, October 2 at 5:30 pm with Dr. Kylie
King’s presentation “*Measuring Confidence in Capitalism*”:*
How do Millennials and Gen Z differ from one another and older generations
in their ideas about entrepreneurship, business, work, and the economy?
This talk will explore a multi-year research project to evaluate
perceptions of capitalism and discuss what this means for individuals and
organizations.
Please come to this event! We would love to have great student and
community turnout!
*Our next presentation will be on Wednesday, November 6 at 5:30 pm* when
you can join members of the Department of Political Science for a panel
discussion and Q&A about the results of the 2024 election.
