Part-time ELL tutor positions available with Plattsburgh City School District

Greetings!

The Plattsburgh City School District is hiring part-time tutors to work
with English Language Learners, especially at Stafford Middle School (10 to
14 year-olds), during the 2024-2025 academic year. Tutors will assist
students who are not yet proficient in English one-on-one or in small
groups on curriculum assigned by teachers at the assigned school.
Interested candidates must also be willing to pay $102 for fingerprinting
as part of the application process. Tutors will be paid $20 an hour and
make their own schedules during school hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am
to 4 pm). Special consideration will be given to English and Education
majors and candidates who have some proficiency in the following
languages:French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Korean, Chinese, or
Nepali. Please be advised that this is considered an off-campus job and F-1
international students would not be eligible for it in most cases. Please
