"The Healthy Masculinity Discussion series is an interactive, fresh
discussion program that hopes to foster meaningful conversations about the
intricacies and nuances of gender, youth, and today's world!” says
facilitator Taj Ellis. “Like the popular Facebook talk show Red Table Talk,
hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, we invite participants to delve deep to
explore and challenge gender roles, societal expectations, and healthy
expressions of masculinity. We will utilize guided discussion topics,
personal narratives, and reflective activities to gain insights into how
gender and masculinity shape our identities, relationships, and overall
well-being. This space will be inclusive for people of all gender
identities and expressions who hope to collaboratively explore the
ever-evolving concepts of masculinity and cultivate an environment of
mutual respect and transformation."
