*SPAMALOT AUDITIONS!*


*May 2, 2024 at 6-9pmSinging/Stage Auditions: 6-7:45pm in Myers 300Dance
Auditions: 7:45-9pm in Myers 129 (Studio Theatre)*
Auditions will consist of song, cold readings from the script, and dance.
Auditioners should prepare part of a song to demonstrate range. A number
from the show is allowed and encouraged. Bring copies of the music (in the
correct key) for the accompanist or recording that you can sing along with
via your phone. Auditioners will learn a few simple dance steps taught by
our choreographer.

*SPAMALOT!* is a big, silly musical based upon the 1975 movie *Monty Python
and the Holy Grail*. Like the film, the musical is a highly irreverent
parody of Arthurian legend, but differs from the film in many ways. It was
an immediate hit when it premiered on Broadway in 2005, receiving 14 Tony
Awards nominations and winning three including Best Musical.
Cast (8 principal and 12 ensemble roles)
Gender will be fluid in our production, casting more dependent on voices
than gender or gender expression. Ages are “aiming towards” not accuracy.

*Rehearsals*September 2-November 5, 2024

   - Monday-Friday 6-9pm
   - Stage, music, and dance rehearsals will take place during evening
   rehearsals.


*Performances*November 6-10, 2024 (Wednesday through Sunday)

   - 9:30 am Wednesday High School Matinee performance
   - 7:30 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday performances
   - 2:00 pm Sunday Matinee performance
