*Exciting News: The Social Work Student Association (SWSA) is Back!!*

*Dear Campus Community,*

*We're delighted to welcome the return of the Social Work Student
Association (SWSA) at our college!* *Following a brief hiatus over the last
few semesters, the SWSA is back in action and is ready to provide the
opportunity for our current as well as future students in social work to
get together as they work in tandem, collaborate, and thrive.*

*The SWSA strives towards making an inclusive and cohesive student body
that can have meaningful conversations as well as share resources and
participate in stimulating actions that involve the field of social work.* *No
matter the subject you are passionate about related to the social justice
movement, advocacy, or participation in the community, the SWSA creates a
safe environment where students can pursue their passions, and to make the
impact they desire, at school as well as in the local community.*

*In the beginning of this exciting new chapter, we invite prospective and
current students in social work to attend an event that is special to
us:* *Coffee
and Chat to discuss all things Social Work and Field Practicum.*

*DATE: THURSDAY, APRIL 11TH*

*TIME: 12:00PM-2:00PM*

*LOCATION: WARD HALL ROOM 106*

*This casual gathering gives students the opportunity to connect with each
other, share their experiences, and learn about work in the field.* *If
you're looking to get involved in fieldwork, seeking advice from fellow
students, or want to make connections with other like-minded persons, this
occasion is the ideal event for you!*

*The Coffee and Chat session:*

   - *Discussions which are active on many issues that pertain to the field
   of social work*
   - *Networking opportunities with professors and students*
   - *Discussions that are lively on practical experience in the field and
   possible internship opportunities*
   - *An amazing cup of coffee, or a beverage as well as a wide range of
   sweets that will fuel our conversations.*

*Whatever your age, whether you're an experienced social worker, or you're
new to this area, we welcome you to be part of this fascinating journey of
the brand new SWSA.*

*Plan your schedule and be ready to meet to grow, learn and be influenced
