Young Caregiver Support Group

Dear Cardinals,

The Wellness Initiative is excited to announce the launch of a Young
Caregiver Support Group here at SUNY Plattsburgh. This group is open to all
students who feel they need extra support or someone to talk to who are
taking on caregiving responsibilities themselves, or are supporting someone
who is a caretaker for someone who suffers from Alzheimer’s or other
dementia’s. Students are welcome to bring a friend for comfort if needed.

Our group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with our first
meeting being on March 27th, 2024 at 12pm.. Students are allowed to bring a
friend if they feel more comfortable that way. All meetings will be
held in Sibley
Hall room 514 in the Center for Neurobehavioral Health and Science.
