*Sexual Assault Services (SAS) of Planned Parenthood of the North Country

FREE counseling, education and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault in
Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties. Whether the assault took place five
minutes ago, or five years ago, SAS can provide hotline services, free and
confidential counseling, support at the hospital or with law enforcement,
information and referrals, and educational programs.
See the *SAS Enough is Enough Coordinator, Sarah Cohen, during weekly
office hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays in Meeting Room 3, Angell
College Center.* Walk-ins are welcome. Services are FREE.
*STOP Domestic and Sexual Violence of Behavioral Health Services North
<https://bhsn.org/social-services/stopdvappointment/>* has expanded it's
scope of FREE services to now include sexual violence advocacy. This
community provider offers:
- One-on-one conversation with a trained advocate to talk about
gender-based violence, sexual assault services and consent
- Safety planning for individuals in unhealthy relationships/escalating
relationships
- Intake services and assessments to see what options are available to
students or employees going through intimate partner violence, sexual
violence, and other crimes
- Education relating to Family Court and Criminal Court matters
- Referrals and warm hand-offs to other service providers to enhance
whole person care
- ***Services are free, confidential, and do not require a police report
