Volunteers Needed for Open House This Saturday

SUNY Plattsburgh's Open House is this weekend (Saturday, October 21) and
Project HELP is still searching for volunteers for the following. The
registration links are included.

9:15 - 10:15 a.m. - Parking: Volunteers report to Einstein's for
instructions and will help potential students and families find parking.
Must look presentable (no sweatpants, SUNY attire encouraged). We need
seven more volunteers. Registration link is: https://cglink.me/2us/r376251.

11:30 -a.m.  2:30 p.m. (one hour shifts) - Tour Guides: Volunteers will
show potential students and families around campus. Must look presentable
(no sweatpants, SUNY attire encouraged). We need 11 more volunteers.

9:15 - 10:15 a.m. or 11:30 - 1 p.m. - Dress up as Burghy to greet potential
students and families. One more volunteer is needed for the morning shirt
and two for the afternoon. Registration link for first shift is

10:15 a.m. - noon - Academic Breakout Session Guides: Students will sit in
the Honors Center till around 10:45 a.m. They are then guided to greet
families interested in their major. They will walk families to a specific
location on campus (provided the day prior). They will sit in on the
presentation conducted by faculty. No obligation to participate unless the
faculty invites them. They will then guide families to the ACC ballroom
when the presentation ends. Signs will be turned into Mtg RM 1. Light
refreshments are provided. Must look presentable (no sweatpants, SUNY
