Visual Artist Series Lecture by Lin Xia Jiang, Painter

Lin Xia Jiang, Painter, will  give a presentation via Zoom on Thursday,
November 30, 2023 at 7:30 p.m.  Lin Xia Jiang is a painter and a professor
at Buffalo State College. He has exhibited his work  including still lifes,
portraits and landscapes nationally and internationally. Born in the
People’s Republic of China, Jiang earned a B.A. and M.A. in philosophy from
Wuhan University and a B.F.A. and M.F.A. in painting and drawing from the
University of Utah.  Since 2003, he has been chair of the Department of
Fine Arts at Buffalo State, where he also coordinates the painting and
drawing program. His work may be found in numerous private and public
collections.

The Visual Artist Lecture Series is made possible through the support of
the Student Association.  All presentations are free and open to the public.
