All full-time, matriculated, domestic students at SUNY Plattsburgh are
automatically enrolled in the college’s student health insurance plan. The
charge for the insurance is included in your semester bill. If you have
comparable health insurance for the enrollment period, you can waive
coverage and the charge. The deadline to submit a waiver for the Spring
2023 semester is February 28, 2023.

If you have already waived coverage of the health insurance for the
semester, and the waiver is applied to your account, no further action is
necessary. You may log in to your MyPlattsburgh
<https://banner.plattsburgh.edu/pls/prod/portal.home> account to verify if
you are being charged or a waiver has been applied.

To waive coverage, follow the instructions below:

   -

   Go to: https://www.haylor.com/college/suny-plattsburgh/

   address

Answer the questions and submit your waiver

You will be notified via email of the status of your waiver request shortly
after submission of the request. SUNY Plattsburgh will be notified of
approved waivers and will waive the charge on the student bill. Note that
the charge will not be removed from the bill, but instead, be offset by a
credit for an equivalent amount. Allow 2-3 business days for the charge to
be offset.
