*Save the Date!*



Please join the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and our
collaborative partners on the dates below for the following events.



*--Community Night:*

Friday, September 22nd from 6-8 pm at the Hawkins Pond (Warren Ballroom,
Rain Location)

A night of networking with local businesses, campus departments, and
student clubs and organizations. Food trucks will be on-site, and we will
feature a student performance by Spicy Island Tings.



*--Black Solidarity Day:*

Monday, November 6th all day, across campus

SUNY Plattsburgh will be hosting a social justice teach-In, featuring
programming about racial justice, anti-racism and social justice. Events
are led by students, staff, faculty, and community groups, held all over
campus. We encourage you to plan to incorporate that day into your syllabus
or work schedule. Please consider reassigning your classes or employees to
participate in the event. Stay tuned for information on how you can
register to host a presentation during this event.
