*August is 'Parking Registration Month' *for all students that will be
parking on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus during the fall session. Please
refer to the Vehicle Registration & Hang Tags
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/about/directions/parking/vehicle-registration.html>
page for specific registration, payment guidelines, how to claim your tag,
and where to legally park. (Branch campus students shall refer to SUNY
Adirondack Parking <https://www.sunyacc.edu/our-campus/parking>.)

*Students that are not parking on campus* still have an obligation to
remove two parking fees - registration fee (PR) and parking fee (PK) - from
tuition *prior to confirming enrollment* to avoid forfeiture of these fees
after the first week of classes. Check your tuition details in
MyPlattsburgh <http://My.Plattsburgh.edu>, or direct financial inquiries to
SFS at plattsburgh.edu.

*Parents assisting residents with move in* do NOT need to register vehicles
on the student's scheduled move-in date. Only if the visit is extended
*beyond* the move-in date/time, shall a visitor pre-register using this Vehicle
Registration Form <https://machform.plattsburgh.edu/view.php?id=407885> and
park in designated on-campus student lots. A visitor parking tag is not
required to be displayed on pre-registered, legally parked vehicles.

*On the session start date, *all vehicles must be registered to park on
campus, display valid hang tags, and be legally parked according to the
registrant's campus designation.
