Take the LIB Exam online this April

The *Information Literacy Competency Exam* (a.k.a. the LIB exam) is being
offered online in Moodle from *Mon**day,** April 10th** to **Fri**day,** April
28th*.

including the link for you to self-enroll.



*About the Exam*
Students who already have a passing grade for the LIB course do not need to
take this exam.


   - By passing the exam, students meet the Information Literacy General
   Education/Cardinal Core
   <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/about/offices-divisions/academic-affairs/provost/cardinal-core/index.html>
requirement,
   but do not receive the credit hour.
   - Students who have a grade of E or W for the LIB course can meet the
   requirement by passing the exam. Note that the exam does not remove or
   replace a letter grade.
   - Students can take the exam more than once, but only once in any
   academic year (July – May).
