The Public Relations Student Society of America or PRSSA cordially invites
you to our “PRofessional Dinner” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 13.
The PRofessional Dinner will provide students with an opportunity to dine
and network with not just professionals in the community but also with SUNY
Plattsburgh alumnus Christopher Huntley ‘13.
Huntley will discuss How to Write (and Speak) to Be Heard. He has plenty of
experience writing to get people noticed — such as presidential candidates
and other politicians — including a majority leader for the U.S. Senate.
Before graduating, Huntley worked with the Black Caucus, an assembly made
up of mostly African-American members of the United States Congress. Later,
he entered the world of politics and directed communications and wrote
speeches for figures like Elizabeth Warren, Hilary Clinton, Harry Reid and
Barbra Lee.
Whether you are a student or a teacher, a politician or a constituent — a
Republican, a Democrat, a Libertarian or something else — you want people
to listen to you and your message. Huntley will offer us tips on how to do
that.
The networking dinner will be Thursday, April 13, at 7 p.m. in the Cardinal
Lounge of the Angell College Center. The buffet-style dinner will also
feature chances to network with other professional communicators from the
region.
We hope to see you in attendance. RSVP on our form

have any questions about PRSSA or the networking dinner please contact PRSSA’s
president Kennedy Tavares at ktava006 at plattsburgh.edu.
