Our popular *Banned Books Read-Out* returns this Wednesday, September 21st,
from Noon to 2 p.m. in the Feinberg Library Reading Room (level three).

We invite everyone to join us for this celebration of the freedom to read,
featuring members of our campus community reading selections from books
that have been banned or challenged.

*Stop by to listen or to read* a selection of your choosing. If you're
looking for inspiration, feel free to select from our Featured Collection
on level two. You may also wish to view the American Library
Association's lists
of books that are most often banned or challenged
<https://www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/top10>.

Launched in 1892 and held annually in September, Banned Books Wee
<https://www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks/banned>k is an awareness campaign that
calls attention to challenged and banned books. The theme for Banned Books
Week 2022 is "Books Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us."

We look forward to seeing—or hearing—you at the Read-Out.
