Dalton Rashad Criss Memorial Scholarship

The Dalton Rashad Criss Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of
Dalton Rashad Criss who died tragically in a car accident just prior to
starting his freshman year at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2019. Dalton was
connected with and loved by countless people across the North Country due
to his participation in the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, leadership at
Peru Central High School, participation in the Peru Orchestra, competition
in wrestling and football, and his worship and participation in the Faith
Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and Choir.  Dalton was known for his
big smile, sense of humor, compassion, and kind spirit.  This scholarship
seeks to honor his legacy.



Enrolled SUNY Plattsburgh students from Clinton, Essex, Franklin, St.
Lawrence, Hamilton, or Jefferson counties are eligible and encouraged to
apply for this scholarship. The application deadline is December 20, 2022.
