Dear SUNY Plattsburgh Student,

As you prepare for Summer and Fall registration, here are some important
dates and other information to be aware of.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Registration Holds

Registration Holds prevent you from registering for courses. They may
result if you have not provided required information to the campus,
including possible immunization information. In accordance with SUNY
policy, COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption is required to
participate in on-campus, face-to-face courses.  Registration holds must be
cleared before you can register for Summer 2022 and Fall 2022 courses. If
applicable you can view your registration holds as follows:

   Log into MyPlattsburgh <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/portal/>
   -

   Click on the Student tab
   -

   Click on the My Holds link under the Registrar header
   -

   If you have one or more holds, please refer to How to Clear Registration
   Holds

   and contact the appropriate office for additional assistance.

   PINs are required for currently enrolled undergraduate students and
   incoming transfer students.

   Students who have not obtained a PIN from their advisor by April 18
   should contact the Academic Advising Office (advise at plattsburgh.edu ,
   518.564.2080)

Apr. 4, 2022 – Jun. 1, 2022 (Session A): Matriculated students

Apr. 4, 2022 – Jun. 19, 2022 (Session B): Matriculated students

Apr. 4, 2022 – Jul. 24, 2022 (Session C): Matriculated students

Apr. 11, 2022 – Jun. 1, 2022 (Session A):  Non-Matriculated students

Apr. 11, 2022 – Jun. 19, 2022 (Session B): Non-Matriculated students

Apr. 11, 2022 – Jul. 24, 2022 (Session C): Non-Matriculated students

Fall 2022 Course registration

Apr. 4, 2022 - Sept. 4, 2022: Graduate students

Apr. 4, 2022 - Apr. 24, 2022: Priority registration

Apr. 18, 2022 - Students who have not obtained a PIN from their advisor
should contact the Academic Advising Office

Apr. 25, 2022 - Sept. 4, 2022: Course adjustment, PINs not required.

May 2, 2022 - Sept. 4, 2022: Transfer students

Aug. 8, 2022 - Sept. 4, 2022: Non-Matriculated students

Additional Fall 2022 Dates and Deadlines

Aug. 24, 2022: Wait Lists Cleared (8 a.m.)

Aug. 29, 2022: Classes Begin

Sept. 2, 2022: Credit Hour Overload Approval Deadline

Sept. 2, 2022: Deadline for Independent Study, Research practicum,
Internship Registrations

Sept. 5, 2022: Course Withdrawal begins (full-semester courses)

Nov. 4, 2022: Last Day for Unrestricted Course Withdrawal (full-semester
courses)
Dec. 16, 2022: Semester ends.
