Alumna Jamie Bowman '03, Painter, will give a presentation via Zoom on
Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. Ms. Bowman lives and works near
Boston, M.A. Jamie received the M.F.A. in painting from the University of
New Hampshire and a B.F.A. from SUNY Plattsburgh. She has exhibited her
work in France and throughout the United States. She has attended
residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, the Alfred and Trafford Klots
International Program, and the Mount Gretna School of Art. She has taught
drawing and painting at Northeastern University, Elms College, and the
University of New Hampshire. Jamie has described her current work as a
shifting balance between humor, sadness and memory.
Please note that the Zoom invitation says the beginning time is 7:00 but it
actually begins at 7:30. This gives the artist 30 minutes to prepare their
presentation. Thank you for your attention to this.
The Visual Artist Lecture Series is made possible through the support of
the Student Association and the Campus Arts Council. All presentations are
free and open to the public.
