Hello Students,

During your winter break, consider planning a study away experience!
The deadline
to apply
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/academics/study-abroad-exchanges/programs/nse.html>
for National Student Exchange will quickly be here on *February 25th, 2022*.
Plan now. Our office is open over break and we'd love to meet with you!

Email geo at plattsburgh.edu to be connected with an advisor.

Why NSE?

   - Travel and explore while in college! Expand your horizons!
   - Network at a future graduate school or in a different job market.
   - Get outside your comfort zone. Consider Canada
   <https://nse.org/exchange/destination/canada/>, Guam
   <https://nse.org/exchange/campus-profile/100/>, Puerto Rico
   <https://nse.org/exchange/destination/puerto-rico/>, or the U.S. Virgin
Islands (St. Thomas <https://nse.org/exchange/campus-profile/147/> or St.
   Croix <https://nse.org/exchange/campus-profile/146/>)!
   - Head to a campus near the beach
   <https://nse.org/exchange/destination/beaches/> or the mountains
   <https://nse.org/exchange/destination/mountains/>!
   - Take classes not available at Plattsburgh.
   - NSE includes small and large campuses, public and private campuses,
   big sports schools, and more.
   - Study at a campus culturally different from our own. NSE includes HBCUs
   <https://nse.org/exchange/destination/HBCU/>, HSIs (Hispanic Serving),
and AANAPISIs (Asian-American, Native American, & Pacific Islander
Serving). Intercultural exchange can happen virtually anywhere you go.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
NSE is affordable! Pay your typical tuition to Plattsburgh, then pay for
room, meals, and books at your host campus. Most financial aid and
scholarships will follow you.

*Eligibility Requirements:*
NSE students must have a 2.5+ GPA and be in good academic, judicial, and
financial standing. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are welcome to
participate. DACA students are welcome. International students are welcome
too.
