"The Back Door" - Crossing at Roxum Road

Plattsburgh Cares is very honored to sponsor the *Plattsburgh premiere of
"The Back Door" on Friday, December 9th at 6:30pm at Blessed John XXIII
Newman Center, 90 Broad Street, Plattsburgh.* Attached and pictured below
is the flyer. As it indicates, the event is a multi-modal presentation
involving an approximately 15-minute slideshow of Paula Allen's remarkable
photographs accompanied by local pianist, Adrian Carr, playing his original
composition, *The Immigrant Song (2018)*. Janet McFetridge will introduce
the program with some facts regarding the tens of thousands that have
crossed the border into Canada at Roxham Road in the Town of Champlain
since 2017. She will then conclude the program with some of the stories of
the asylum seekers before a question and answer period.
