Unsure whether your vehicle is pre-registered? Verify the assigned tag # in
MyPlattsburgh (See Helpful Links.)
- If you see your current hang tag # displayed, claim your tag upon
arrival. (See Helpful Links.)
- If you see no tag # listed, complete *all* steps in the Vehicle
Registration Steps for Students. (See Helpful Links.)

*Upon arrival, students may park pre-registered vehicles in designated
student lots, without their assigned parking tag, *until they claim their
tag prior to the session start*. If a pre-registered, legally parked
vehicle is ticketed for 'no permit visible' prior to the first day of
classes, the Appeals Board will automatically expunge the ticket upon
submission of the ticket # to parking at plattsburgh.edu.
