*AAS 308 Black Europe* is now part of the *World Cultures* category of the
Cardinal Core Curriculum and there are seats available for Fall 2022!

In this course, we will explore how race works in Europe and trace the
histories of Black Europeans. In addition to delving into the politics of
immigration, nationalism, and anti-racist movements in Europe, we will
focus on the experiences of people of African descent in specific
countries, including France, Britain, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the
Netherlands.

The three-credit course *also* counts as one of two required
*upper-division* courses in the Cardinal Core categories. You may register
for the course if you have sophomore standing or higher.

If you have any questions, please contact the instructor, Elizabeth Onasch,
