SADD Club Needs You!

Hello,

I am here today to represent the SADD club as our Vice President. We are a
national organization that spans all 50 states with over 4 million members.
SADD stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions but was once called
Students Against Drunk Driving. SADD.org

We have many different opportunities and activities, as well as
fundraisers. Some activities  we do are:

   -

   De-Stress day
   -

   Red Ribbon week
   -

   Yoga
   -

   Tie-Dye
   -

   Random Acts of Kindness
   -

   Team Bonding exercises
   -

   Grim Reaper Day
   -

   Annual SADD Conference, where all SADD orgs from New York meet and do a
   ton of fun and engaging activities. There's also a National one, but that's
   usually expensive, and is done by very major SADD clubs, but it wouldn't be
   impossible to do it someday. All SADD clubs that can attend meet at one
   location every year and have loads of fun.

   Sticker Shock (Platys Day)

   Suicide Awareness week
   -

   Fight Autism heads on-coloring sheets and puzzles
   -

   Winter coat/cooler weather clothing drive for the homeless/people in need
   -

   Food drive for local communities

We also do some fundraising. One example of this is what we called in my
school “Powder Puff”. This was once a year, normally in better weather, the
community comes together to watch a football game. Not any normal game
you'd think of though. This is where girls play, and then we have guys do
cheerleading. While we may not have football, our president and I decided
on something we are going to call “Platys Puff”. This is the same as Powder
Puff, but instead of footballs, the girls can play Rugby, while the guys
cheerlead. This is an extremely fun event and lets us do fundraising, while
also engaging with the community and just generally having an all-around
fun time.

We also do many more activities, but I just wanted to let y'all know of
just some of them. We also sell shirts and sweatshirts sometimes. This can
be another avenue of fundraising, or just an appreciation for being in
SADD, as we sometimes, although rarely, give them to distinguished
members/officers. We use a group chat in Gmail and a Facebook group to
communicate. We are looking for a Secretary and a Treasurer. If you wish to
