Kari Reardon, Sculptor, will be the first presenter of the fall 2021
semester. Reardon is a Los Angeles based artist originally from
Minneapolis Minnesota. She received her BFA from the School of the Art
Institute of Chicago in 1999 after studying at the Studio Arts Center in
Florence Italy and completed her MFA in 2012 from the California Institute
of the Arts. Kari has been a recipient of numerous grants, residencies and
fellowships throughout the US and internationally. Currently she has a
studio in Mount Washington and teaches sculpture, bronze casting, and
beginning 3-D design at California State University Northridge.
Ms. Reardon will give a Zoom presentation on Thursday, September 16, 2021,
at 7:30 p.m. Please note that the invitation says the beginning time is
7:00 but the beginning time is actually 7:30. This provides the artist 30
minutes to prepare their presentation. Thank you for your attention to
this.
The Visual Artist Lecture Series is made possible through the support of
the Student Association and the Campus Arts Council. All presentations are
free and open to the public.
