Spring 2022! Gender and Women's Studies topics class as taught by Dr. Marco
Turco is back.

*It has become clear now that the models of manhood used in the past are
fading, worn-out, and often  no longer useful. Most of us know that the
definition of a man we learned in high-school, the military, or on the
sports fields of the macho man, the dominant man, and the conquest-driven
man do not work in our rapidly-changing world. The negative side is
obvious: exploitation of the earth, devaluation and humiliation of women,
and obsession with money and war.*

GWS200WB1, Journey into Manhood, will explore new visions of what a man is,
or may become, and help students build skills to enact those visions. The
CRN # for this course is 4285 so register as soon as possible to get a seat.
