Information Literacy Exam Dates - Main Campus

The *Information Literacy Competency (LIB) exam* is being offered in
Feinberg Library room 108 on the following dates and times:
- Tues. Nov. 2 at 12 p.m.
- Wed. Nov. 3 at 3 p.m.
- Thur. Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
- Fri. Nov. 5 at 12 p.m.
- Fri. Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
*Pre-registration is required,* as seating is limited. When you arrive for
the exam you will need to be wearing a facemask and have your picture ID.

*Extended time examinations through Student Support Services*:
If you are eligible for this service, please work with extended time
examination coordinator, Laura Cronk <cron1609 at plattsburgh.edu>, to
schedule a day and time for the exam.
*Eligibility to meet the requirement by passing the exam:*
- By passing the exam, you meet the Information Literacy General
Education/Cardinal Core requirement, but do not receive the credit hour.
- Students who have a grade of E or W for the LIB course can meet the
requirement by passing the exam, but the exam does not remove or replace
the letter grade.
- Students can take the exam more than once, but only once in any
academic year (August–May).
