Winter and Spring 2022 Registration Information

Dear SUNY Plattsburgh Student,

As you prepare for Winter and Spring registration, here are some important
dates and other information to be aware of.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Registration Holds

Registration Holds prevent you from registering for courses. They may
result if you have not provided required information to the campus,
including possible immunization information. In accordance with SUNY
policy, COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption is required to
participate in on-campus, face-to-face courses.  Registration holds must be
cleared before you can register for Winter 2022 and Spring 2022 courses. If
applicable you can view your registration holds as follows:

   Log into MyPlattsburgh <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/portal/>
   -

   Click on the Student tab
   -

   Click on the My Holds link under the Registrar header
   -

   If you have one or more holds, please refer to How to Clear Registration
   Holds

   and contact the appropriate office for additional assistance.

   PINs are required for currently enrolled undergraduate students and
   incoming transfer students.

   Students who have not obtained a PIN from their advisor by November 15
   should contact the Academic Advising Office (advise at plattsburgh.edu ,
   518.564.2080)

Winter 2022 Course Registration

Nov 1, 2021 – Jan 2, 2022 (5 week session): Matriculated students

Nov 1, 2021 – Jan 11, 2022 (3 week session): Matriculated students

Nov 8, 2021 – Jan 2, 2022 (5 week session): Non-Matriculated students

Nov 8, 2021 – Jan 11, 2022 (3 week session): Non-Matriculated students

Spring 2022 Course registration

Oct 29, 2021 - Feb 6, 2022: Graduate students

Nov 1, 2021 - Nov 21, 2021: Priority registration

Nov 22, 2021 - Feb 6, 2022: Course adjustment

PINs will be released to continuing students on November 22 to all who have
not yet received them.

Nov 29, 2021 - Feb 6, 2022: Transfer students

Jan 10, 2022 - Feb 6, 2022: Non-Matriculated students

Additional Spring 2022 Dates and Deadlines

Dec 17, 2021: Wait Lists Cleared (8 a.m.)

Jan 31, 2022: Classes Begin

Feb 4, 2022: Credit Hour Overload Approval Deadline

Feb 4, 2022: Deadline for Independent Study, Research practicum, Internship
Registrations

Feb 7, 2022: Course Withdrawal begins (full-semester courses)

Apr 8, 2022: Last Day for Unrestricted Course Withdrawal (full-semester
courses)
