Dear students,

The Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion needs you! *We are inviting
students across campus to join SUNY Plattsburgh’s Student Diversity
Council! *While serving on the Student Diversity Council, students can
expect to be liaisons between our student body and ODEI to spark change, be
the voice for student concerns, share priorities for inclusion, share ideas
to address accountability and work together with other College partners to
bring diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives to life.

This Friday, October 8, we will be hosting an open discussion for those
looking for more information about the role of a student diversity council
member. We will be discussing:

-Role and responsibilities

-Expected time commitment
-Number of council positions to fill
-Issues that need to be addressed

*Please join us on October 8 at 6 p.m. in the H.U.B. located within the
Angell College Center (ACC)*
