Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Week is finally upon us!!🤩🤩 Come join Fuerza:
The Black and Latinx Student Union in our first event to start off our
Hispanic/Latinx Heritage week, where two genders will battle it off in some
intense games to decide who’s the superior gender!🤔🏆

Guerra de los Sexos will be held in the Alumni Conference room on Monday,
September 27th at 7pm and on Instagram Live. Let’s see what gender is truly
superior!!

Una Cultura (A Culture)

Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 - Amnesty Room @7pm

Hispanic/Latinx culture, history, and tradition have been a fundamental
aspect of American History. In honor of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month,
we’d like to shine light on these contributions by recognizing, discussing,
and celebrating what Latinx/Hispanic heritage brought forth not only in
America, but around the world! 💃🏽🌍 ✨

Join FUERZA: The Black and Latinx Student Union on Tuesday, October 5th at
7pm to discuss the impact of Hispanic/Latinx Culture on the World and how
these vast cultures unite one another through their historical and current
efforts of progression, unity, liberation, and change!

In the Heights, Table Talk Edition!
Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 - Yokum 200 @7pm

Ouuuuuuuu this is a good one!!💃🏼 Come join Fuerza: The Black and Latinx
Student Union at our first table talk of the semester. We will be talking
bout the Musical: “In the Heights”🤩 Come learn a little bit about the
culture many of us can relate to while growing up and still are
experiencing once we leave Plattsburgh!

In The Heights: Table Talk Edition will be held in person on Wednesday
October 6th at 7pm and on Instagram Live. We would love to hear your
thoughts on the Musical and if you haven't seen it yet we’ll have a few
clips for you!!

Hispanic/ Latinx Heritage Banquet

Thursday, October 5th, 2021 - ACC Warren Ballroom @7pm

FUERZA’s annual Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Week of Events are soon upon us!
We have a whole week of events planned, all dedicated to Hispanic/Latinx
Heritage Month! Stay tuned and join us everyday at 7pm next week starting
Monday October 4th - October 7th! 🤩🎉

With that being said, we are immensely excited to announce that we will be
resuming our now 5th annual Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Banquet Thursday,
October 7th! 💃🏽🎉✨

We’ve been stuck inside for too long, now it’s time to pop out, dress to
impress, and show solidarity in honor of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month! We
will have live performances from special guests, food, contests, and much
more! Don’t wait until the last minute! Tickets will be available next week
to purchase! We hope to see you there!
