ODEI Open House (TODAY) & Speak Out 2021

Good morning campus community,

We would like to send a reminder about two of our upcoming events. We hope
you can participate and please bring another colleague or friend! We look
forward to seeing new and familiar faces.

   -

   ODEI Open House - TODAY Friday, November 5 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. the
   Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host an Open House to
   welcome staff, students and faculty to our new location in Hawkins 102. We
   are located in the northeast corner of the building, adjacent to the
   president's office. Please come say hello and grab a snack!

   Speak Out 2021 - Black Onyx: The Black Student Union cordially invites
   our campus community to Speak Out 2021 on Monday, November 8, from
   2:30-4:30pm in the Memorial Gym. This event is part of The Speak Series,
   which was created as a partnership between students and administrators to
   bring about model communication, accountability and systemic change. It is
   opportunity for students, administrators, staff, and faculty to discuss
   bias and discrimination experienced by Students of Color, specifically
   Black students, on campus. It is a safe place for students to share their
   stories/experiences, ask questions, express concerns, and provide a call to
   action to administration. We look forward to coming together in dialogue.
