Fwd: Multilingual Our Town Auditions

Greetings!

I hope this message finds you well.

Would you like to be in the SUNY Plattsburgh Theatre Department's fall
production of Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN with new translations by Nilo Cruz
and Jeff Augustin? This will be part of the *THE 305 Production
Workshop *class,
which meets on T and Th from 9:30 to 10:45 am. You will need to register
for the class.

I'm holding AUDITIONS on *Tuesday, May 4, and Wednesday, May 5 from 6 to 9
pm *in the Hartman Theatre*.* You may also submit a video by May 5.

You don't need to prepare anything. It's more of a chance for me to get to
know you.
*I will find a place for everyone who is interested in joining the class
and doing the production. *
You don't need a lot of acting experience or have to be a Theatre Major or
Minor to participate.

I'm looking to work with a *creative, collaborative,* and *committed *group
of people with open hearts and minds. Familiarity with Creole or Spanish
language is a plus, but not required as some roles use those languages. If
you sing or play an instrument, that is most welcome too. In fact, *YOU are
most welcome in Our Town.*

We will also develop a community portrait project along with this
production.
