REMINDER: LIB Proficiency Exam Offered during Advising

Students may take the LIB Proficiency Exam as a convenient, alternative way
to meet their LIB course General Education requirement.
*Pre-registration is required* for this online, proctored exam that covers
Critical Research Skills.

- NOTE: When you arrive for the exam you will need to be wearing a
facemask and have your picture ID.
*Updated eligibility information:*
- By passing the LIB proficiency exam, you meet the Information and
Technology Literacy General Education/Cardinal Core requirement, but do not
receive the credit hour.
- Students who have a grade of E or W for the course can meet the
requirement by passing the exam, but the exam does not remove or replace
the letter grade.
- Students can take the exam more than once, but only once in any
academic year.
*Extended time examinations through Student Support Services*
If you are eligible for this service, please work with extended time
examination coordinator, Laura Cronk <cron1609 at plattsburgh.edu>, to
schedule a day and time for the exam.
*Branch Campus Exam Information*
- Thursday, April 1, 2021 at noon in BRY Hall.
