Residency Application Deadline

SENT ON BEHALF OF STUDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES

The deadline for students to apply for a change in their residency status
for tuition purposes for the spring semester is Friday, February 26th.
Students who believe they are eligible for in-state tuition but are
currently being charged the out-of-state tuition rate must complete the
following tasks:


   -

   Complete the Application For New York State Residency

   -

   Provide at least three documents in support of their application


   -

   Send their application and documents to the Student Accounts Office

To be considered for the current term, residency applications must be
received or postmarked by Friday, February 26th.  Students can submit the
residency application by:


   -

   Emailing the application and supporting documents to
   myaccount at plattsburgh.edu


   -

   Bringing the materials to the Student Accounts window on the first floor
   of the Kehoe Administration Building (current hours are Monday - Friday
   10AM - 2PM) If it is outside of business hours and the customer service
   window is not open, there is a secure drop box located to the right of the
   customer windows.
   -

   Mailing them to Student Accounts.


Out-of-state students who are enrolled in an exclusively online program may
be eligible for the special online, out-of-state tuition rate. To learn
about eligibility, go to the residency home page

Students who read the eligibility requirements and believe they qualify
should contact Student Accounts at myaccount at plattsburgh.edu.
