Parking Compliance Reminder

As a reminder, individuals that park vehicles on campus are expected to
abide by the State University of New York Traffic and Parking Regulations
Part 565 – Plattsburgh

.  Parking compliance highlights include, but are not limited to:

   - Designated parking is limited to valid tag holders during business
   hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  A pre-registered vehicle can
   legally park without a tag for 48 hours pending tag assignment.
   - After business hours, permit holders may park in any designated lot,
   except faculty/staff lots that restrict parking 24/7.
   - Only qualifying individuals with special parking privileges may park
   in reserved spaces or restricted areas.
   - The use of an unauthorized or tampered parking tag is prohibited.
   Parking tags are not transferable.
   - Parking is strictly prohibited on bike lanes, crosswalks, campus
   roadways, or unpaved areas without parking signage.
