Walk, Protest & Vigil: Continued Solidarity After Conviction of Derek Chauvin

*Direct Action *> *Walking, Protest & Vigil *- Friday April 23, meeting at
5:00 p.m. on Amitie Plaza. Our campus community will walk and protest in
solidarity to end racial violence. We will end with a vigil around Hawkins
Pond and will maintain the required 6 foot social distance.

*Releasing Spaces & Counseling*
> *Artistic Release *

   - Chalk your thoughts on Amitie Plaza - from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m..
   There will be chalk available (outside of the H.U.B.) to write your
   thoughts on the Amitie Plaza pavement.
   - Yoga & Meditation for racial trauma - starting at 12:00 p.m. on
   Memorial Field, weather permitting. Weather contingency, The H.U.B. Please
   bring a yoga mat, blanket and water.

> *Journaling* -  the H.U.B. will be offering an in person journal drop-box
 and virtually for students studying remotely by sharing your perspectives

and include them with the notes from the on-campus community members.


> *Listening sessions* - To assist students in processing their opinions,
thoughts, and feelings regarding the Derek Chauvin trial, the Student
Health & Counseling Center will be offering the following “listening
sessions.” All sessions will be facilitated by counselors from counseling
services. Please feel welcome to join the conversation.
