Welcome Back! I am contacting you today because if you have not heard an
election is approaching very soon and we want to make sure you’re prepared
to exercise your right to vote. This email is not an attempt to tell you
who to vote for, but simply an effort to inform and encourage you on how to
and when to vote. Below are some deadlines and links that you should be
aware of:

**An earlier post  had the wrong registration date, please see below for
the correct date**

To Register to Vote

For New York State:

Through the DMV (Online):

Paper Registration: http://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingRegister.html

Other States:

Secretary of State Database:

New York State Voter Registration Deadlines for the  General Election:

The following are set deadlines, if you register any later you will not be
able to participate in the 2016 Election. So have all of your items
postmarked by or well before the following dates:

Voter Registration Mail-In Date: October 9th

Application for Absentee Ballot: Postmark Date- October 27th.

 Tuesday, November 3rd is the date of the General Election if you plan to
vote at your assigned polling location.
