Students selected for the Empire State Service Corps are matched with a local non-profit or educational organization where they will complete 300 hours of paid public service at $16 per hour over the course of the 2026-27 academic year (about 10 hours per week). In addition, students who are U.S. citizens will also be enrolled in the AmeriCorps program and receive an additional $1,400 in educational awards at the end of the year.
