Good afternoon,
A friendly reminder that classes for SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury are
less than two weeks away and begin, Monday August 29. As you gear up for
the fall semester, please make note of the current COVID-19 protocols in
place, especially the SUNY mandate that all students be vaccinated. If you

Fall 2022 COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

COVID-19 VACCINATION MANDATE
The SUNY-mandated directive

vaccinated on all SUNY campuses is in effect.

All students who will have a physical presence on campus are
required to provide

minimum, the initial course of COVID vaccinations

Students enrolled in any program or course or who are participating in a
clinical or internship off-campus must continue to comply with the
location's vaccination and/or testing protocols.

EXEMPTION
-
Any student who currently has a medical or religious exemption filed
with the campus from a previous semester will carry over to the fall ‘22
semester.

If you are a new student seeking exemption, submit at:
www.plattsburgh.edu/covidexemptions
-
Fully remote/online students who do not plan to vaccinate MUST submit
the “fully remote” exemption to be compliant

BOOSTER
-
Boosters are not required but strongly encouraged for all who are
eligible.

Need a booster? Visit: vaccines.gov <http://www.vaccines.gov> to book an
appointment.

TESTING
-
*Any student approved for medical/religious exemption taking in-person
classes are required to submit a rapid test result prior to the start of
classes and again before returning from Thanksgiving break. *

To do this, email branchcampus at plattsburgh.edu with: (1) photo of
negative test result along with a photo of your government issued ID. (2)
Send picture using your plattsburgh email address along with the
statement:
“I [insert name] attest that I administered this test on myself
on [insert
date].”

Rapid tests are available in Plattsburgh’s branch office (M-F 8-4:30)
as well as with Adirondack’s college nurse in the residence hall (M-F
11am-4pm).

Face Coverings
-
Face coverings are required for anyone who has returned to campus in
days 6-10 after COVID infection. Otherwise we support any person on campus
who chooses to wear a face covering.

Isolation & Quarantine

If you test positive for COVID, notify branchcampus at plattsburgh.edu.
